Comments : NLCC Field Operations is an ok training. You get to learn a lot & go a bunch of places. You get to tour a ship, visit a coast guard station, go to an omnimax theatre, go up in black hawks, go to the pool, & go to a nature center. The chow is great & I suggest going.

Name of Training : ND-NLCC Adv Trg - Field Operations
Training Location : Camp San Luis Obispo, CA.
Year of Training : summer 2009
Duration of Training : 1 week
Would recommend?? : yes
Overall Grade : B
Difficulty of Training : 3/5
Comments : A lot of fun but lots of marching. We learned how to clear rooms, read a map and other military tactics. We didn't do any PT. It was cold in the morning when we got up which was 6:00am and we went to bed at 10:00pm. The food was excellent and one night we even ate MREs. Be prepared to deal with the cows, turkeys, and deer.
